TETLI's Governing Bodies

The Institute has two distinct committees, being the Secretariat and the Executive office.

The Secretariat

Has two key roles:

  • the day-to-day operations of the Institute.
  • strategic proposals on the Institute's long term 'business' strategy and policies

The committee reports into The Executive Office through its Chairman.

The Executive Office

Has responsibility for the overall strategic direction of the Institute taking inputs from the Secretariat and undertaking its own consultation(s) as appropriate.

The constitution, can be amended at any time by the Secretariat and such amendments will be enforced by the Institute until such time as they have been withdrawn by the Executive Office which will be after an annual or special general meeting has been lawfully convened, the members having tabled the issue and instructed that the amendment should be withdrawn.
